FarmFind Terms of Service. Effective October 14, 2026. These Terms are an agreement between you and FarmFind LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("FarmFind," "we," "us"). They cover farmfind.app and the FarmFind app (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them.
FarmFind is a free, community-built directory of farm stands, farmers markets, farm stores, free food pantries and community gardens. We do not sell, grow, inspect or deliver anything listed. We are not a party to any dealing between you and a listing.
You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, use the Service with a parent or guardian. Browsing needs no account. Contributing (reviews, edits, claims) needs a signed-in account.
Listings, hours, prices, photos and ratings come from users, listing managers and public datasets such as the USDA directory. They may be wrong, outdated or incomplete. Listings marked unverified have not been checked by us. Always confirm hours and availability with the stand before you travel. We do not guarantee that any listing exists, is open, sells what it says, or is safe.
FarmFind does not inspect food, kitchens, gardens or pantries and makes no statement about quality, freshness, allergens, pesticide use or legal compliance. Claims such as "no spray" are self-reported. You decide what to buy, take or eat. Free food pantries and community gardens may have their own rules or limited access; follow posted signs and the host's instructions.
Directions open in Google Maps or Apple Maps, which are separate services with their own terms. Routes can be wrong. Follow traffic laws and road signs, use caution on rural and unpaved roads, and respect private property. Do not enter land or buildings that are not open to the public.
Sign-in is by emailed link. Keep access to your email secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at alex@farmfind.app if you think it was misused.
"Contributions" means listings, edits, photos, reviews, flags and anything else you submit.
To become a Verified Manager you must be the owner of, or authorized to act for, the listing. You confirm that your claim is truthful and that you will keep your information current. We may approve, deny or revoke a claim at our discretion, including for false claims. Verification confirms identity checks we ran at the time; it is not an endorsement, certification or guarantee.
We may review, edit, hide or remove any listing or contribution, and suspend or end any account, at any time and for any reason, including for violating these Terms. We are not required to monitor content.
We respond to notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Send notices to our designated agent: Alex Rodriguez, FarmFind LLC, 8401 Mayland Dr #10822, Richmond, VA 23294, alex@farmfind.app (U.S. Copyright Office registration DMCA-1083045). We end accounts of repeat infringers.
If you opt in to promo alerts or digest emails, we send them as you chose. You can turn them off in your account or by contacting us. Promotions are posted by listings; we are not responsible for offers.
The FarmFind name, logo and software belong to FarmFind LLC. Do not scrape, resell, or copy the directory in bulk, or interfere with the Service. Map and place data from third parties follow their own licences, including OpenStreetMap contributors and Mapbox.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY LISTING, PRODUCT OR FOOD IS SAFE, LAWFUL OR AS DESCRIBED.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, FARMFIND LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS AND CONTRACTORS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ILLNESS, INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST PROFITS OR WASTED TRAVEL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY LISTING. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO $100. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you in full.
You will cover reasonable losses and legal costs that FarmFind LLC incurs because of your contributions or your breach of these Terms.
We may change the Service or these Terms. For material changes we will post the new version and ask you to accept it again. You can stop using the Service at any time and can ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). Sections that by nature should survive (7, 13, 14, 15, 17) do.
Virginia law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Virginia have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to their authority, unless the law of your home place requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, please email us and give us 30 days to try to fix the problem.
